H! yaw!
My DS's foster Mom just emailed a sweet letter to wish him a Happy Birthday (he's 1 year this Friday), but also asked if we could send clothes that he can't wear any longer because she still has another baby that has not been adopted yet. What is the best way to send a package, UPS, FedEx, USPS..?? Is it a bad idea to include some cash in the package? Does their postal service open the packages? Thanks for any info on this. Shannon

Probably the best way is to see if someone traveling for visit or pickup will take it for you. Once they get it to a local hotel you can contact one of several drivers that people on here can recommend (we used a great guy recently) and that guy will pick it up and deliver it. We included $20 for that part and then just paid the USPS domestic cost to get it to the traveling family.
No plans to visit soon, here, but if and when we ever visit or pickup I'm happy to take some stuff.

If you can't find anyone to carry it down and you must ship it look for a Medrano office near you!! They only charge for the size of the box and not the weight!! It's a really great deal and they have multiple box sizes. For instance I sent a box that weighed 300 pounds in Dec. for a little over $400 including insurance. They had a TON of donations in it and much needed things for an orphanage. I will be using them again in the next couple of months to send down school supplies, books and things for an orphanage!! I'll let you know how it goes!! Good luck!
