OT-How do you get photos from cell phone camera to computer??
Help! I have many great photos on my cell phone and want to know how to download them to my laptop, I have verizon if that makes a difference.
I know I can email them to verizon but that takes forever since you have to do one by one. I know someone here can help, you are all so techno savvy!!!!! TIA! Anna

I have cingular....but I just text them to my email box.......takes a little longer to do a bunch of them....but worth it to have them on my computer.

I also have been wondering how to do this for a couple of years! I have been meaning to stop at one of the verizon stores to find out. I am thinking, other than sending them individually, I would have to get a usb cable or something to just plug the phone directly into the computer. I have blu tooth also but no clue how to do it that way. Please help Joshguat.
Also, what does OT mean in a thread heading? Open topic? Thanks!

Use a memory card
I have a Verizon phone and found out that they protect/disable the features needed to download your photos to the PC (i.e. Bluetooth) because they want the revenue from the text messages.
What I did is purchase a microSD memory card (it can vary by phone model, so you'll need to post your phone's model and brand to check the type of card required), save all my pictures (and music) to it and then connected the microSD to my PC.

Thanks everyone, I tried the blutooth and nothing happened. I have been to verizon twice and they won't tell me anything. I tried connecting my cell to my laptop with a usb cable, still didn;t work.
Jilo, I have a motorola pink razor the V3m. Maybe i need to buy that microsSD card?Help! Thanks everyone!

See if this works. Send a picture message from your cellphone to your email address eg yahoo, gmail etc. you can open that email on pc and then save the pisdc on your pc.

Youll need to buy a microSD card (circuit city has 1 GB SanDisk microSD for $15 and 2GB for $30ish) and an SD reader (I saw this one at circuitcity: “SanDisk MobileMate SD Plus 5-in-1 Reader” for $20.
Once you get all of these do the following (I have the KRZR which has very similar menus but not identical, so please excuse if there are some extra menus on your phone. I can call my sister if you need the exact menu steps as she also has the RZR phone): 1) Turn your phone off and remove the battery. 2) On the back of the phone, between the battery and the top of the phone there is like a black, soft plastic cover (around the same size as the microSD card) that needs to be partially removed to allow the placement of the microSD card. If you still have your user manual, look on page 28 “Removable memory capability” for the exact location of the microSD connector. Or you can download the user manual from Verizon’s website if required. 3) Slide the microSD into the slot and then replace the plastic cover, the battery and the phone cover. 4) Turn on your phone and go to the menu where you see your pictures. Select each picture and press MENU --> OPTIONS --> MOVE to send it to your microSD card. 5) Once all pictures are saved in your card, repeat step 2 to remove your microSD. 6) Insert the microSD card inside the SD adapter and then insert this one into your SD reader (the reader has instructions on how to insert your card. 7) Plug your reader into a USB port of your computer and it should be immediately recognized by the system. I believe that the folder “my_pix” has all your images. I’m not sure if the circuitcity links to the microSD and memory card reader are allowed. I’ll post them here just in case: 1 GB microSD: Buy the SanDisk 1GB microSD Mobile Memory Kit and other TransFlash & microSD memory cards at circuitcity.com SD Reader: Buy the SanDisk MobileMate SD Plus 5-in-1 Reader and other Memory readers at circuitcity.com Hope this helps, but please let me know if you need anything else. I am a techie (sp?) so sometimes my explanations are not very clear
