Oh my goodness, Chris! This is big time!
The fact that the judge said okay to foster care is a HUGE BLESSING!!! And - hopefully a sign that the judge is favorable to American adoptions. You can do this...15 days of nail-biting, pacing, and prayer! You can do this! I pray that the truth (whether he has family or not) about your little guy is known, and the adoption can proceed with all speed. Love,

Thank you all so much for your positive words, thoughts and prayers. It means a lot. They have requested we go to the first abandonment hearing. DH can't go, so it looks like as long as no one comes forward over the next 30 days, I will be heading down to plead my case in a Guatemalan courtroom on 6/24. Thanks again for the prayers. Keep 'em comin'. It looks like I will need them.
