The hotel is very nice. It seemed a bit "snooty" to me. The indoor pool area is wonderful. Being connected to the mall is nice because there are many places to eat, a pharmacy, etc. The rooms are fine - nothing special but nothing bad.

Hi Kevin,
I did find a document that I started about the Tikal. Unfortunately I don't remember all of the questions I asked. (I'd insert a red face here if I knew how) Something that comes to mind that I don't think I asked yet is if we will need to buy and adapter to plug in our lap top, iron and hair dryer. As I think of other questions I will start a new thread.

Thanks Kevin for filling us all in as to why the forum is down and I am also thankful for the Update on the front page of Guatadopt.

I really, really miss my guatadopt but.... I really could use a break so I'll just breathe for a couple days.
Maybe it will be back up on Monday. I am very, very thankful for you all at Guatadopt!
