Our Embassy appt is done!
I just want to tell everyone in process, stay strong and continue fighting and battling to bring your children home. Our journey has been a long one but seeing her smile and asking me for a hug make it worth it. Remember it will happen but please don't set your heart on a specific date. The date isn't important. Remember the goal is just having them home.
I said I would limit myself but I wanted to share a picture of our morning. She is a pure joy. I look at her and can ALMOST forget all the delays, dealing with the clown and the useless agency. The second was as we got ready for our appointment.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Almari is a doll as always! Enjoy the rest of your trip, and wishing you safe travels home to your complete family. I cant wait to see lots (and I mean lots) of pictures of the girls together!!!

Connor  Began 5/3/04 8/5/04-referral Home 4ever 2/11/05  #2 older child, ref 10/0512/05-told there is 'trouble' with birthmom-don't even send gifts 5/06-recd call that birthmom wants to reclaim and his case goes back to court agency WITHDREW US W/OUT OUR PERMISSION  They say his adoption will "never happen" 3/07-recd call that he is finally avail (again); courts have ruled against birthmom; but another family is paper-ready & waiting for him... I'm so sorry we let you down, son of my heart  time to get our act together! Cristian 5/13/07-begin h/s update/paperchase 6/1/07-referral Home 4ever 3/8/08 #4 10/22/07-accepted ref 12/21/07-completed dossier in country 2/15/08-didn't make it-what went wrong?

Almari is soooooo cute!

I am so happy that everything is completed and you will be home soon.
It is so good to see some children coming home to their forever families and gives me hope that we will be at that point soon. At least with our son. Congrats.
