After your child received their passport, how long was it until you were submitted to the USE for DNA? Supposedly our son's passport was done on Tues. and they said they hoped to submit him to the USE by the end of this week or early next week. Does that seem like a long time to you?

Our passport was received on 4-23 and we had DNA Authorization on 4-24, that was late Thursday afternoon and our test was taken on Monday. Hope that helps.

Well, we are right there with ya...we got the passport but apparently waiting on documents to be translated back into English (this and passport are what are submitted to USE) So we were SUPPOSED to have that done yesterday but our agency never received the fax from the attorney w/ our authorization...sooooo hopefully today. We got the passport last week I believe...

Thanks for your responses. I did hear from my agency today that they plan to submit us to the USE on Monday for DNA authorization. I don't know why it's going to take almost a week. But, there isn't anything I can do about it now.
