Semillas was raided yesterday, thank goodness none of the children were taken but this is so frustrating. I am currently waiting for the 2nd DNA to be able to pick up Angie and RFKBukeye is currently on her way to Guatemala to pick up on of her 2 girls at Semillas.

I've edited one of the posts above - please remember all comments about adoption professionals (including Hogars) must be done via PM.

What I mean by that is no direct comments about the Hogar, the way they do business or their practices (or the professionals involved). It's fine to talk about the raid and the impact...but beyond that, we need to keep it to PM - like we did last year when the other Hogar was raided.

I'm sure there are many nervous PAP's out there trying to get info on this situation. I hope that everything is OK and the children don't have to go through any other traumatizing events. I am keeping everyone in my prayers.

There is another post by the director of the hogar on Guatadopt (just posted in the comments). There was a second raid yesterday. According to the post, all of the children are still in the home.
