Middle Tennessee Adoptive Family Picnic 5/17
Just a reminder:

We are gathering adoptive families on Saturday May 17th at 4pm for a picnic.
Pinkerton Park in Franklin, TN
Bring drinks, plates, and silverware for your family and a dish to share.
All families touched by adoption are welcome.

I'll keep bumping this through out the week.

Can't wait to meet everyone. We will have a +1, my MIL arrives that morning. We are still brining brownies. I think that might be the only thing to get me through the day!! (assuming I don't eat them all in the morning)

at the last minute my dh was able to rent us a place without me needing to see it first, so i'm not coming to TN this weekend. but you all have FUN...and i am SO in next time as we will be there in JULY!

We were planning on coming but Gabby is not feeling well this week and we are taking her to the clinic in the morning, so no trip this weekend. We're really bummed but what do you do. Can't wait til next time though.

Thanks to everyone who came! We had 14 families if I counted correctly. It was great to meet everyone - hope to see you all again in October if not before! I won't post photos here because I know there were a few families who don't like their kids on the net...but I'll get the password protected site out to you all soon.

2-20-07 submitted to embassy for pink
3/01/07 congressman contacted
3/05/07 file resubmitted to embassy by attorney and embassy issued a I-72 requesting proof of DH fingerprints being valid. new I 171h faxed by congressman.
3/06/07 PINK!!!!!

We're so sad we missed the picnic. We were hoping to be home by now, but we are still in Colombia completing our adoption of our daughter. We'll definitely plan on coming to the next get together!

So sad we missed it but we were hard at work getting house ready outside for our Son's graduation dinner next weekend. We will be at the next on for sure. Can't wait to see pictures.
