To the Real Moms
LOL, as many of you know, as a man who is also a single parent, I love to respond to posts that ask, "Okay ladies...", "Mom's I need your advice..." "Gals..." You know what I mean. Being single, I am both my son's mom and his dad. My default mode, I admit is father, and I suck at being a Mom, but I do it.
Anyway, there is one day a year, I take a break from all that. It is today-- Mothers' Day. Today, my hat is truly off to all you Moms. You do so much! I truly could not do what you do. You have to be organized, efficient, tender, and to top it off, know everything. Many, if not most of you, also have careers, and are trying to maintain some semblance of a marriage. I don't know how you do it! So, congratulations, Moms. Enjoy your day. I hope your families are doing something marvelous for you or, if not, that you all acknowledge quietly to yourselves that you are doing a wonderful job. Thanks. Bob

Celebrate away Bob. As a single mom my sons believe I should also be able to celebrate father's day as I am both mom and dad to them as well. So, we do.

I think you are a wonderful parent...and that's what our kids need...regardless of gender. My hat is off to you too!
