Fostering
Is anyone considering fostering their child in Antigua? I am trying to get info on how you make it happen.
With PGN doin their delays I want move to foster our son. Who else is considering this and what info do u know. Thanks for the help. Buffy

I know there are a lot of threads covering this topic. If you do a search I'm sure you will find a ton of information. There is a yahoo group that I belong to that is invaluable regarding fostering in Antigua - including housing listings. The group is foster_parents_of_antigua_guatemala. Just go to yahoo and search for the group.

First, check with your agency to make sure they allow it and your attorney allows it. They may be able to put you in touch with other families who fostered in the past, or who are there right now.
I basically went down with no idea where I was going to live. I was prepared to stay in a hotel in Antigua until I found somewhere that was just right, but I got lucky and found a great place the first day. Good luck to you! And keep us updated.
