My father had told me this morning there was a similar article in the U.S. Today, but the number was higher. Maybe we should all go back to family court, too along with that extra DNA. Argh!

this isfreagin nuts and quite honestly seems illegal and so far out of the scope of what PGn is allowed to do I hope the attorneys put in that AMparo today and put a stop to this unnecessary delay.

So are they saying that the DNA tests that the U.S. does are not good? Instituting this requirement appears suspect. How could one fake DNA and try to pass off a child as their own?

Our agency notified us today that PGN plans to interview ALL birth mothers. PGN met with our attorney as well as other attorneys on Friday and again on Monday and that is what they were told. PGN is meeting with the US Embassy today to presumably notify them of this. I have no idea how these interviews will be conducted but I can only guess they will start with those cases already in PGN.

Well, looks like we needed to be worried after all!!! Well, all I can pray is this moves quickly and we can start to see some OUTs very soon..I hate the birthmothers are put through this interview after the SW interview too, but all I can pray is this moves very fast..

It isn't fair because soooo many cases that were also in-process as of 12/31/07 have made it through PGN and babies are home, yet they weren't subject to these additional investigations. I agree that it is outside of the scope of what PGN should be doing. I am very anxious to hear how this plays out.

I am so sad.... Our Oldest Daughters Bio-Mother has been dragged back into the City from her Home so many times and I know it is so very hard for her to get there and she misses her wages for that day .... So our attorney who is watching her funds, to take care of the children she still has (and won't turn away) has to pay a driver to go and get her and then bring her all the way home.

I wish everyone would just stop running around like chickens with their heads cut off and look at the bloody paperwork first. If there is any question with it, then talk to Bio-Mom..... But for God Sake leave these Women alone, they have gone through so much!
