I am asking because I was supposed to get direct deposit. My end SS # is 20. I cant find any information about it. The web site just says no information available on it. But I guess the IRS is no better then dealing with INS. Just wondering.

Yes!!!!!!!!! I got mine on Friday and it was direct deposited. My SSN ends with 07 and my tax guy told me that 00 - 20 are coming first so keep checking. Maybe today!!!!!

Here is what info I got off of the IRS website...Hope it helps.

Stimulus Payment Schedule for Tax Returns Processed by April 15

Economic stimulus payments will be issued according to the last two-digits of the main filer's Social Security number. For joint filers, the payments will go out based on the person listed first on the return. Payments will be made by either direct deposit or paper check, consistent with how people filed their 2007 tax return.

People who use direct deposit also will be among the first to receive the payments starting April 28. Direct deposits will be made daily and completed by the date listed below:

DIRECT DEPOSIT

Last two SSN digits: Payments will be transmitted no later than:
00 through 20 May 2
21 through 75 May 9
76 through 99 May 16

Paper Checks
Paper checks will also go out based on Social Security number. For Social Security numbers ending in 00 through 09, the paper checks will be mailed starting May 9 and will continue through May 16. A similar process will be repeated in the following weeks.
PAPER CHECK

Last two SSN digits: Payments will be mailed no later than:
00 through 09 May 16
10 through 18 May 23
19 through 25 May 30
26 through 38 June 6
39 through 51 June 13
52 through 63 June 20

My last 2 digits are 00 and my husband's are 17 and we have not received ours yet either.

My hubby's last 2 digits are 12. We actually got a letter on Saturday saying we should have our check by 5-9 and if not to call if we still don't have it in 6 weeks! We requested direct deposit but due to the amount of our refund for the adoption tax credit they didn't do direct deposit.

Also our check is only going to be $900, which is $300 for each of us and $300 for Gabbie. I know there was a previous post on this but keep in mind if the adoption tax credit brought your tax liability to $0 like ours did then you get less. I was excited thinking we were going to get $1500 but instead it is only $900, which is still nice.

Remember it's the PROCESSED date, not the post mark date that is important.

If you didn't have your return processed by 4/15, then you're ES Check will be later this summer.

Hold up here......So if we had a hefty refund because of the adoption tax credit and had to have our refund mailed via a paper check, then we have to wait for another paper check for the stimulus?? Poopies! They have all of my routing info! I used their calculator and we should be getting something. Not all of it but something. I was hoping to have it this week because we are in the May 9th group. Double Poopies!

The letter I got said ours would be mailed. Maybe yours is different? I hope so!

My DH's ss# ends in 07, we had our regular tax refund direct deposited, but so far nothing in our account for the stimulus check. I also checked the web site and it says there is no record of information. I know that they won't give you one if you have back child support - not us, but it also says if you have outstanding student loans. Does this mean any student loans or ones in defalt? I have student loans and would be really peeved if we don't get a check for that reason, we obviously could use the $$$ if we are taking out student loans!
