Well, here we go again. ALL of my worst fears are AGAIN being realized. Two months of OTHER children getting out but not mine. Such a joke. I am so ready to give up but I refuse to let them win. My daughter WILL come home whether they like it or not.

Ok guys, CALM DOWN. I won't go into my reasons, but I take everything SL says with a grain of salt. This is HER view of what's going on. True the CA shouldn't be in the position to be approving files, BUT what if they are really looking into the corruption in PGN? Who else can they trust to look into it.... the same people who have been working in PGN? I think not. They need outside perspective on what was really going on in there. I have stated over the last several days that PGN has been HELL for our attorneys lately. The things they have been asked to do and give is unexcusable. Do we REALLY expect those SAME reviewers and supervisors to admit any of this??? I believe that this is an honest attempt at getting the truth. We all know how things happen down there.... Rumors fly. We freak out. It calms back down. Things roll for a while. Something else happens. Cycle repeats itself........ At this point there is no reason to freak out. I do intend on emailing The White House about George W's meeting with Colom. That meeting taking place with adoption actually on the agenda, in the US, is something to cheer for. We all knew when we signed on this late in the ballgame that we would encounter bumps. This is just another bump along the road. I do feel that this bump is leading in the right direction. I may be wrong, and my words may just come back to bite me. At this point though, worrying won't do anything positive for my daughter. I am relying on my faith in God and trust in my attorney. If either of those guys tells me to freak out then I'll be freakin' big time. Until then I'm standing strong in the knowledge that my sweet Essie will be home soon. Who else is standing with me?????

I am with Lou. While we didn't just sign on, we started in Nov 06, I still agree. I really think that there are so many politics playing out in Guat right now. I may also be wrong but I think what is happening is going to be good for everyone in the near future. I also TRUST my sources with all my heart!!! They have been right on for me so far.
