Anyone else watching The Bachelor this season?

I can't help myself - I LOVE this show! DH and I watch it together every Monday night and just LAUGH and LAUGH!! It is hilarious!

I saw a link about tonight's episode and here is a preview:

Do you think this is actual footage or totally staged? DH keeps saying that it is edited to make it look like it happened, but the mom was probably just joking.

Would you DIE if your mom acted like that - AND to have it on VIDEO???

Well I can't wait to see what happens. I have never missed one yet since it started. I really think this guy is hunky esp. with his accent. Who are you pulling for? Anyone except Shane. She seems sooo fake to me and acts tooooo young. I like Amanda but if that is her mom then, I don't know. Seems a bit weird!

This show just cracks me up! I really am not a fan of this bachelor. He seems a bit off to me. I can't put my finger on it though and I continue to watch anyways! I am pulling for Noelle, she is my favorite and most realistic person on there. Why on earth is Shayne on there anyways? I think it is to further her career. I will be tuned in tonite!

I guess the preview did its job - it has us all intrigued enough to watch!

I was pulling for Holly - until Matt picked Marshana during their 2-on-1 date. I couldn't believe it! Marshana is SUCH a DRAMA QUEEN!
Dontcha think that they keep some of them around for ratings?! There CAN'T be any other reason. That lady was a FREAK! I couldn't stand her attitude! ugh!
Oh and I was soooooooo glad to see Robin go! That scene where Shayne and Matt were laying in the snow and Robin skis up was priceless! I crack up at the editing and the background music!

I don't know who it will be. They are all so different.
I like Chelsea because she seems pretty real - and their personalities are so similar - which COULD be a problem in the future.

I think Noelle will go home tonight. But it is hard to tell through the editing who he is really connecting with.

I can't wait to watch!!!!

The info on our satellite TV TOTALLY ruined it for me!!!!

I turned it on to watch it off my DVR and saw the description that said "an elaborate prank" would be played on The Bachelor.
grrrr....

So from the beginning, I knew it was a prank. Darn it!! That would have been a funny twist - for sweet Amanda to have a PSYCHO Mom!!!

I am looking forward to the following weeks to see what happens.

So far, he has picked Shayne first at each rose ceremony... anyone notice that?

My gut feeling is that it will come down to Shayne and Amanda.... or Shayne and Chelsea.... I just can't decide! But I know Shayne will be in the finals. He just seems smitten with her. Like she's the type of girl he always chased when he was younger. KWIM?

We'll see what happens - he's just BETTER NOT pick NONE of them like last season!! I don't think that ABC would be that risky to run 2 back-to-back busts!

I LOVED it! But DVR preview ruined it for me too ("elaborate prank" . I like the bachelor a lot; he seems genuine to me. I honestly like all of the remaining girls, but I like Amanda the best. I can't see it lasting forever with Shayne-- she is too high-maintenance. And Chelsea-- well, her laugh is a tiny bit annoying. But she's nice too! Great tv!

My girls and I were laughing hysterically while we watched it last night. I do think it's going to come down to Amanda and Shayne, but truthfully, as much as I can see he lusts after Shayne, I think he is falling in love with Amanda. Big difference in my opinion. We'll see.

I have to say though, I was glad to hear my 16 year old tell me how "fake" the show is. She said it's impossible to get to truly know someone on a show built on these fantastic get-aways, etc, that the true test is real life when things aren't pretend. She's got a head on her shoulders. Thank heavens!

I was cracking up watching last nights episode. I thought it was hysterical.
I'm not sure who I'm rooting for though.
I didn't like Shayne at first. But- as I've gotten to "know" her she has grown on me. She really isn't a bad person. I like the way she stayed out of most the girly drama in the house. I just think she is complicated. So- we'll see. Her mom sure was interesting.
