I have seen before info about transport to and from Antigua - what is the best way of getting there?

I hired a driver to take us down there. He has a minivan, and carseats, if they are needed. He charges $50. Very reputable - PM me if you would like more information.

it's about a 45 min drive from GC to antigua and well worth it - antigua is just beautiful and somewhere not to miss - hiring a driver is probably the best way - if you can get a minibus/car with seatbelts & car seat that would be the best option

we did the same. i arranged it though a website/travel agency and paid on-line and was confirmed through e-mail. i had them pick us up and deliver us back to the airport on 2 occassions. both times in a/c van and much better for the winding, up and down road to antigua. can highly recommend. the agency speaks english, but drivers probably will not. pm me if you need. have fun - i love antigua! loved both trips to the max!

Our attorney's son has a tourist agency, so we hired him.

He was EXTREMELY helpful, and took us in a brand new van!!

Our attorney's son also took us to Antigua (IH8MEAT-maybe we had the same attorney?). It was worth the trip, very reasonably priced and he had a nice new van. You can pm me for his email address. Have a wonderful trip!
