Has anyone ever filed this after they got back their original documents? Is so, did you get anything else back and is it work filing? Thanks

You can fill out the form G884 to have returned to you the original documents in the VISA packet you turned into immigration when you returned to the US from Guatemala with your adopted child. Some of the documents you may already have, but they may only be copies, these would be the originals. I also got a few extra photos of my both my daughters that I had not seen before and very importantly I got some extra photos of their birthmoms, that I hadn't seen. It is well worth sending in the request and it doesn't cost anything. :-)

I have talked with someone here who was going to go it. I'll PM her and see if she ever did. I keep thinking I might, but never get around to it. I honestly believe we got everything back from the G884, but I am a little curious.
