We took our two teenaged sons with us in February to visit our daughter. It was a wonderful trip, and I am so glad that they were able to see the beautiful country in which their sister was born, and to spend time getting to know their new little sister. When we went back to bring our daughter home a week ago, however, our sons stayed with their grandparents. So much of our time was spent on the embassy appointment, etc., that I was glad that it was just my dh and I. I think the time that we were able to spend with our little daughter bonding with just the three of us was also very important. We will all be returning one day to revisit our daughter's foster family, and also to bring home one more little sister.
