Prayers for Mixco and other BC Waiters
On another forum, many people have decided to specifically pray tomorrow and this week for the Mixco Civil registry and all families waiting exaggerated amounts of time for birth certificates. I have heard that someone at the U.S. Embassy is meeting with the Mayor of Mixco sometime this week, so this seems like a great time to join in prayer. As a waiter myself, I know we all appreciate the prayers and support you have all shown to us. I'm hoping and praying for amazing things to happen this week! Thank you!

Timeline 1/03 Began praying about a third child 11/17/06 Felt led to adopt a baby girl from Guatemala  1/02/07 Dossier arrives at agency (#34 on waiting list)  6/15/07 Referral of Baby Girl born 6-11-07  6/27-30/07 1st Visit Trip  7/5/07 DNA/FC/SWI 7/13/07 MATCH!!! Results at Embassy 9/8/07 PA  9/13/07 in PGN  11/15/07 OUT!!!  11/16/07 Final signature! She's legally OURS!  11/19/07 Submitted to Mixco CR 1/2/07 Preview from Mixco CR 1/17/07 Received certified PGN approval  1/18/07 Resubmitted to Mixco CR  3/5/08 Mixco BC file approved 3/7/08 Mixco BC Received!!! 3/11/08 Passport 3/13/08 ORANGE!!! 3/17/08 2nd DNA Taken 3/27/08 Results at Embassy 4/2/08 PINK 4/9/08 Visa 4/15/08 Home forever!

Of course I will also join in prayer for all of those waiting for BC's.
I am floored that families are kept apart waiting for these documents when PGN has approved. God is good and we will see progress this week.

Actual date file entered PGN - Oct. 23rd KO'd Nov. 7 - PGN requires new employment letter for my husband - notary's commission expired FINALLY RE-SUBMITTED TO PGN Jan. 4th, 2007 New reviewer assigned to our case Jan. 30, 2007 KO'd AGAIN!!! Feb. 1, 2007 - this is really getting old!! 3rd visit trip Feb. 1-4th Feb. 21st and we still don't know what KO#2 is even for?!?!?!? Guess it wasn't a KO after all!!!!!! Feb. 22 OUT OF PGN!!!!!!!! March 26th 2007 leaving for extended pick up trip! March 29th - Happy 1st Birthday Kate!!  Home forever on April 27th!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise God!!!

Yvette     PGN 10/4 OUT 11/27-28 Waiting for BC from Mixco (submitted to CR 12/5 So this is Hell)  It's Official wait for BC longer than wait for PGN out. If it wasn't so sad it would be funny.  4/2 Our attorney lied and we according to Mixco CR were submitted on 1/22/08 FINALLY BC 4/16  ORANGE - 4/21 2ND DNA - 4/22 DNA At Embassy - 4/29 COME ON PINK PINK 5/6 EMBASSY 5/9 HOME 5/13

Thanks for posting the prayer day over here on the forum. I just finished copying Susie's prayers on paper so I can carry them with me tomorrow. If you find out when the visit to the Mixco CR will be please let us know. We will have to prayer for that meeting too. Gail My Johanna Faith

I will be praying too for an end to these needless delays in Mixco. I have friend who has been waiting a very long time for a Mixco bc. And, one of my little girls was born in Mixco too. I pray that the delays are overpowered with all of us joining together today

I will be right there with all of you, praying for our babies. Our daughter has been waiting for her BC for a month. I know this small amount of time cannot compare to some of the waits I have seen, however it seems like an eternity!
