Chicken Soup for the Adopted Soul
Hi everyone,
Just sending out a plug for the newest Chicken Soup book, which has just hit the bookstores. It's Chicken Soup for the Adopted Soul, and has some nice (and, okay, often schmaltzy) pieces about the adoption process, the adjustment after, etc. It includes a story I wrote about Miranda! (Love's Language, p. 198.) I just finished the book. I bought it at B&N at the store. I enjoyed the book. I did wish some of the vignettes were a bit longer though. HOw did you get to be an entrant in the book? Someone on Frua also got a piece in there. I didnt hear of anyone calling for authors?

You can go to the website and check periodically to see what types of stories they're looking for. It's Chicken Soup for the Soul. Click on Submit a Story, then Possible Titles.
