At least I think so - our lawyer said that we would definitely have ours on Friday - which would be 13 days - I'll know for sure Friday - wish me luck!

You can go to the embassy any morning - Monday thru Thursday. So we are going to travel a week from Saturday - everything might be ready by Thursday (6 days after passport)- but in case it's not we figured we should just make our reservations to be there the following week.

Maybe we were just lucky but our passport only took 7 business days and that included one day fixing an error. We travelled about 5 days after our lawyer had the passport in hand....good luck!!!

We took the baby to the final doctor appt. When we first went into passport, he told us which days we should travel & it worked great.

I spoke with my agency and they said that they just removed the person that was issuing the passports in Guat. He was not very PRO ADOPTIONS and was sitting on the passport requests. Perhaps this will mean that a lot of people will start seeing their passports issued very soon. Keep posting when you get the calls that you have received your passports this will give the rest of us a better idea of what is really going on down there! Good luck to all!
