I met with my atty friend who completed my daughter's adoption in 1999. According to her, PGN has 1/3 less cases now and things have sped up. However, she also confirmed that their scrutiny of cases is more prevalent these days.

This part of the wait is soo hard because this is when the final approval comes; it's causing soo much anxiety.

I just brought my son home in May...we did not even know we were in PGN but predicted by our updates we were in only 5-7 business days...I had myself prepared for a 4 week wait but was delightfully surprized. Sue, hold on, your time is almost here. Once out of PGN, it really feels like you are on a downhill ride!!!!

We visited her 2 weeks ago and I look at those photos every day!

Keep us posted on your progress. This stage makes no sense becasue the timetables are all voe rthe charts...aye! But, we are hanging in there :-)
