I agree...you didn't do or say anything wrong. I read your post, but having never been pregnant I didn't have any advice, but I didn't find it offensive. I have to believe that you can always eat chocolate right?? I would go have a barrel of that!!!!!!!

The only thing I can figure that you are talking about was your pregnancy questions.

There are those of us who can have babies and some of us who can't. You thought you were in the latter category and then SHAZAAM!, your world was turned upside down. I bet you have questions!

It would be unfortunate if your blessing offended someone, and even more unfortunate if you could not discuss your joy with all of your friends here. If someone was upset, I'd like to think your post simply caught them on a bad day. I for one am looking forward to hearing all about your pregnancy and enjoying the journey with you.

let's play nicely and please remember both sides. while we all agree josie is sweet and didn't intend to hurt anyone, please remember that there are very VERY many of us that are hurting and it is painful to see posts on others pregnancies. no one was looking for a fight or having a bad day, just like people are free to communicate their joys about pregnancies, the rest of us are free to communicate our pain with the same topic. the "confrontation" was done in private, and there is no need to bash in public those that are in fact hurting.

let's all give eachother a break, supporting one another, WITHOUT resorting to putting down the other parties.

let's just say we love "josie", and leave it at that.

I too, cannot figure out what you are apologizing for.

When I found out I was PG with Clair-Elise, we were preparing for our pick-up trip to get Carolina. I was completely stunned, as I did not think that was ever going to happen, and certainly not with that kind of timing! I posted on this board to share my joy, but I was a little concerned that some folks would not have a good reaction. Everyone was completely supportive and happy for me.

We are happy for you!!! I hope your morning sickness goes away soon.

i was just going to say that the first thing that popped into my mind when i read josie's post was that however your children come to you, it is a miracle. i have been around these boards long enough to know that children have come to us biologically, domestic adoption, international adoption, stepchildren, etc. (i am sure i am forgetting many others).

however your children come to you, it is a miracle.
