re-adoption & wrong birth date on birthday cert.
We brought our little guy home one year ago and our re-adoption was final this past december. They issued out state birth certificates for our son and they put down the wrong birthdate (the year was 2007 when he was actualy born in 2006)?? Anyone experience this, know what to do to get it fixed. I'm having a heck of a time finding a phone number for the vital statistics dept for NY state?? Thanks.

The same thing happened to us and it was fixed very quickly! You have to go through the Amendment Unit. I'll PM you the email & name of the person with whom we dealt. She was VERY nice!!
