We got the call no parent should ever have to get.
To my forum friends:
We were notified today that, after being in the hospital for two days, our sweet baby girl died last night. It is a call that no parent should ever have to endure. My heart is broken and words cannot begin to express our sadness. Please keep us and Ariana's foster family in your prayers as we deal with this loss of our baby girl and our chance to adopt from Guatemala. I will pray that nobody else ever has to deal with this and that all of you are able to bring your babies home very soon. Aileen No longer waiting for Ariana Maria

I am so sorry. I will pray for you. I lost my son last March--he was a twin and only lived 18 hrs. It was very difficult. I know the situations are different, but it is still loss. Please know I will pray for you and will be thinking about you. Take care of yourself during this time.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your daughter. Your family and the foster family will definitely be in our prayers. There is nothing more difficult to bear and no pain more stronger than losing a child. I don't know if you are religious, but God pulled me through my loss and He will do the same for you if you will let him. It has been over six years since my son died in a car accident and not a day goes by that I don't think of him. But I have peace now knowing that he is with our heavenly Father. It will get better, I promise you. I wish there were more words to say. No one should ever have to go through this.
