Has anyone heard any updates on CQ babies? I'd like to know.

Hopefully someone else will respond w/ more information but I did see a post where one AP of CQ babies was getting to bring her twins home forever!

Here's the latest update in a nutshell:

The families are still caught in a political battle. More than one official has stated that the last four months have been political, and are not becuase CQ has done anything wrong.

-2 cases were released from PGN (one was mine). Judging by the reactions of the heads of PGN (some CQ parents met with them 2 weeks ago) the were not aware of this and were less than pleased.

-Between 10-15 cases have been approved in PGN (signed off by Barrios months ago) but PGN will nopt release the cases. The latest update I had was that PGN wanted to do yet another investigation into these cases...I think this will be the 4th investigation

-There were 4 cases that were inbetween FC and PGN. These files, since they weren't in a court's possession, were confiscated by the Ministerio Publico. Last week parts of those files were finally returned to CQ. At least one family has to go back through FC because the MP wouldn't return that part of the file.

-The cases that were just starting out or in FC have started to move again.

-All children are now back at CQ (the last were returned about 2 weeks ago)

So progress is being made slowly. The MP and PGN continue their witch hunt and don't mind if they break laws etc... in the process. CQ is still lied to, threatened, and pushed around.

There is so much more to this mess than I can write in a short reply, but this is the basic facts. Hope this helps.

I am humbled by what these poor CQ families are going through. It puts my own frustrations in a totally different light. I'll be praying for all of them!

Like Kathy stated CQ has been targeted and treated unfairly.
We are truly fortunate to have CQ fighting for our children. They are strong, strong people. We are lucky for the nannies taking care of our children. The love they have for our children is amazing. We pray that one day every last child will come home.

For now we keep fighting!
