We have the Summer video monitor and love it! We have both the stationary and the remote monitors (we needed 2 cameras for 2 kids!). It's great to be able to see our kids - even in the middle of the night!!

We do get interference when we use the phone, but otherwise, it works great!

We also have a Summer. We started with just a vocal monitor and kept hearing our neighbor's phone conversations instead of Joseph. I found the video one at BRU for $100. Worth every last penny. If we put our cell phones to close we get some interference, but that happens with my PC too, so it wasn't a big deal. A lot better than the neighbor's gossip.

Amy - I also recommend the Summer handheld monitor. There are two versions - a white one and a silver/blue one. The silver/blue has a slightly larger screen. We loved it...and I miss it. When Jackson came home we wanted one video monitor that would scan both rooms so I got the Bebe Sounds monitor. There is a camera in each room and one handheld unit that scans automatically every 8 seconds. I wish I would have just bought a 2nd Summer one and used 2 monitors. Summer is much more user friendly! The Bebe one works fine, but it makes a clicking noise when scanning the rooms and the button for the LCD is a pain and the battery doesn't last long.

We have gotten a lil interference on both of them, but it hasn't been a problem.

We have the Summer handheld as well. A little interference but not bad. We have one camera above each crib and it works great. I think the blue/silver that OP mentioned is a newer model. We got the white/silver for a gift and then I bought the additional camera, which is blue/silver. I bought it online at Target so I had no idea I'd be getting something different. The picture is a little clearer on the monitor. I think the monitor/camera was $169? maybe a little more. The additional camera was cheaper at Target than BRU, it was $79 I think. HTH
