ATTENTION: Mommies/Daddies of girls
I need wardrobe help!
 My daughter is getting her Christmas pictures taken next Saturday and I need some input/advice on what color tights and shoes would look decent with her outfit. The skirt is like a garnet red (jeweltone color) and the shirt is white satin. I have NO idea what color her tights and shoes should be.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

KO name affidavit  11-13-06 back in PGN ! 01-29-07 OUT of pgn THANK YOU GOD  (and forum friends) so much to do..so not ready !!!2-20-07 submitted to embassy for pink 3/01/07 congressman contacted 3/05/07 file resubmitted to embassy by attorney and embassy issued a I-72 requesting proof of DH fingerprints being valid. new I 171h faxed by congressman. 3/06/07 PINK!!!!! embasyy appointment 3/13/07 HOME 3/15/07 a forever family at last !!

You're probably going to laugh, but I had Lib all dressed up in white tights and black shoes and then took them off... It's not so formal, but I LOVE baby feet! In her pic, she's sitting with her hands folded in her lap like a little Contessa and her teeny tiny toes are just visible behind her... too cute!

I don't know if every Target store is the same, but they have some GORGEOUS garnet-colored patent baby dress shoes right now. (I want to say around size 2 to about size 6.) I hunted for months to find red shoes to bring my daughter home from Guatemala in. These are the most gorgeous garnet colored shoes for babies I've ever seen. I wish they had been around when I was looking! Target has them in the shoe section - not in the baby section. And they also have the same style shoes in black patent too. Just an idea if you need an idea of where to look!

I think I will go with the white tights and black shoes, but also have a picture taken of her without the tights or the shoes. This is AWESOME because I don't need to buy anything now!! However, Pipercub's suggestion is quite intriguing! LOL! Garnet shoes would be BEAUTIFUL!

I found a (small) picture of the shoes at Target. They are called Mahalia Rosette Dress Shoes in scarlett red. I think they look a much deeper, richer color red in real life than they do in this picture. But anyway, here is what they look like - they have adorable rosette flowers across the band that latches. I bought them in black for my daughter's Christmas outfit - they were $10.99

StrideRite has shoes in the same rich color as the ones at Target, but they are $50. (Honest, the Target ones are the same shade as these - the picture above really doesn't show accurately.)
