Back from Visit Trip...
Oh, what an amazing trip!
 I got to spend 4 wonderful days with Joseph Franklin! We have decided that he will continue to be called by Franklin, his birth name. We were going to switch it to Joe, but we found out that his bmom put alot of thought into his name. She said that she wanted a name that would work in America or Guatemala. I can't bring myself not to honor that.Unfortunately, someone between here and GC (TSA, maybe?) decided to relieve my camera of its memory card! All pictures gone!  On the upside, I had both surprise visit and DNA pictures waiting for me when I got home... Enjoy! DNA.JPG Franklin Surprise.JPG

Awww, what a Sweetheart! Sounds like you had a great trip. Losing all your pics is absolutely awful though!!! What a disappointment.

May I suggest using Franklin Joseph instead. As someone who goes by her middle name, I can tell you it's really annoying...

that stinks about your memory card. was it in your checked baggage? just wondering about how it was removed and you not seeing it. i would think you would have noticed it if it was on your carry-on when they were searching through it.
just wondering.

Never even filed 11/5-prior atty wants to "check" on us.Tells new atty he was never pd by agency! Agrees to give our file IF we release him of all liab  1/6/09-rec the real COA! Petition to be filed with CNA tomorrow! 2/10-'old' atty won't release our file...w/out PAYING a fee! So much for release of liability  2/16-Agree to pay file ransom 4/29-File FINALLY given to new atty 5/19-CNA officially approves us to begin adoption; accepts dossier NOW MORE HOOPS

Memory Card
My memory card was securely in my camera, which was securely in its case, which was securely in my checked bags.

My dad and brother are both named Franklin. We always called my brother Frankie and he now goes by Frank. I think he likes his name - different but traditional, too. Congrats - he is a cutie!
