LONG-TIMER asking for Prayers
Hi, everyone. Many of you know my story of our still ongoing effort to adopt our daughter, more than 2 yrs after referral. Many of you have been kind enough to pray for our case in the past and I ask for prayers once again. We are STILL waiting to get back into regular PGN, to be reviewed and, God willing, approved. As my timeline below says, we waited a year for our court hearing; had an additional 7 wk delay after that hearing; finally got a favorable ruling from the Minors Court judge in late May & she then waited 3 months to sign her own ruling. We were blessed to finally, 5 wks ago, have our daughter released from the hogar to which she was sent last year and back to her wonderful, original foster family. However, we are again dealing with obstacle after obstacle. The Investigations part of PGN has still not moved our file back upstairs to regular PGN, despite the ruling in our favor.
Please pray that we are able to finally have this happen: back into regular PGN and a "quick" approval and OUT, and then a smooth process to PINK. Our I-171H expires again on 11/30/07 and we will once again need to get an updated homestudy, medicals, etc. to renew it on time. When we received the positive ruling in 5/07, I never imagined that I'd once again have to renew the I-171H. But here we are. I would appreciate your prayers. It's the only thing that can help.
