Urgent Question
Ok: I am in Guatemala and flipping out.
Upon arrival to Guatemala my facilitator gave me my daughter's passport. Yesterday I had her embassy appointment and remember having to give the passport during my interview. Here is my question: do they give you the passport back on the day of the interview -- or do you get it with the visa materials the next day. I went to find my daughter's passport and can't find it. . . .and my visa packet will be arriving later today. HELP! -Paz

Its OK - You left it at the Embassy and they are stapling her visa into her passport. You will get it back this afternoon. Now go have fun!!

At the embassy you give them her passport. They keep it and give it back with a visa in it when you pick up your packet the next day at 330. Congrats!!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I was so worried. I was about to go out to the stores and thought I better bring her passport -- and then freaked. I knew I could count on this forum. THANKS SO MUCH! I am, BTW, having an amazing time with Lucia. Will post pictures once I'm back. Thanks again.

I'm laughing because I totally tweaked out and called our facilitator from the hotel because I lost our son's passport!
It showed up the next day with the super top secret visa envelope. Not to worry.

We did the exact same thing!! I wonder how many facilitators get that call?!

Yes, you will get it with the visa. Now, go an enjoy your last day in Guatemala. I hope you have a safe flight on Sat. coming home. I am so excited to know that Lucia is soon to be home with her 2 sisters and her Mommy! Hugs, Martina
