Marriott on Lockdown
I hope Lisa (lisainatlanta) doesn't mind me posting this, but I know she will appreciate your prayers. As will any and all other families there now.
I emailed her to ask about the weather, and she shot a quick email to let me know that the Marriott is on lockdown due to protesting in the streets due to "the issue of foster momīs and birthmomīs, the issue is the notorial process that itīs illegal because itīs not being signed off in front of the judge". She also stated that the Embassy was being "swormed" today too. Another couple informed her that they heard, "UNICEF just gave Gaut. some huge billion dollar amount to upstart orphanages and do away with foster mothers." That is all she said because she was in a hurry to get back to her room. The have restricted all adoptive families to their rooms or the hospitatliy suite. I will let you know more when I know more. Just please pray that this is resolved quickly so everyone can get done what needs to be done and come home.

We had heard that CQ was just the beginning.
