Anyone going to GAFE in NJ this weekend?
Hi everyone. Its been such a long time that I have not been on this website for ages. I used to be so active on this website. I do miss it. Now my daughte Jen is 3 and not to much time on my hands. hee, hee. i wonder why.
This weekend is GAFE up in Parsippany, NJ. The last one was 2 years ago and it was so much fun. Just curious if anyone else would be there. Hopefully i will see familiar faces. enjoy. eve

I am so bummed out that I won't be going this year. Since they moved it into August it makes it really hard for those of us in the South to go...our kids start school really early. We have Open House on Saturday.
Those of you who go, please ask them to move it back to July for next year so we can go ahead...we have always loved it!!!

It's a yearly conference (well almost yearly, they didn't do it last summer). It lasts from Friday night-Sunday morning and is held in a hotel somewhere in the NE. There are speakers and activities and a big dinner/dance. It is GREAT...tons of kids and families and lots of fun. I am so sad right now that I am not going!!!

We had an awesome time..The speakers were good as were the kids activities..but the best was Saturday night..as always..So much fun to see all the Guatemalan kids on the dance floor, with their siblings and parents! Got to meet so many forum friends.
Eve-I had a great time sipping drinks after and seeing your mom and her friend Sat night! Cody had a great time with all his little Guat friends and danced the night away.. Will post some pics as soon as I get them downloaded! Doretta

Hi! We were there too and look forward to going again the next time they have it. Our kids are little (2.5 yo and 1 yo), so it was hard to get as much out of the offerings as we could have. Eve and Doretta, it was fun meeting you!
