Does anyone know where to begin to look for my daughters siblings? She was adopted almost 1 year ago and we found out she has siblings that were adopted. We would really like to find them.

There is a Guatemalan Sibling Registry on Yahoo. I am sorry, I don't have the link handy. Go to Yahoo groups and search Guatemalan Sibling Registry.

Only minor issue with that - and probably wouldn't be an issue for you - is that you can't join the registry without registering your child and bmom.

I know my child has siblings adopted in the US and I'm not quite sure if we want to have a relationship with them (if we ever found them). That's something we're still praying about.

But I did have a friend on the registry look for my bmom (I think she said it has first name and then intials? Someone correct me on that.) and she's not there so Amelia's siblings aren't registered (which I guess works out in our situation).

Just thought I'd put that out there for those who maybe aren't sure yet and had questions about the registry.

Oh, P.S. I've seen on the Big List that people have just sent a general email out asking if anyone had the bmom of first name, initial initial - it looked like there were a few matches several months ago. Good luck!!!!!!
