Apparently there was some distributing company that screwed up and sent them out early...publishing company is trying to shut people up...its like a Harry Potter soap opera. You can find the story on MSN. I am torn about reading the last book, I want to read it so bad but will be really upset when its done.

Oh BTW, if you're really loaded and want the book early, apparently someone is selling on a popular auction site for $175 or scanned pages of the WHOLE BOOK (how long did that take???) for $100.

Every time a new HP book comes out, I tell everyone not to talk about it because I am waiting for the paperback to come out. That's how cheap I am!

I didn't realize it before, but I think that, in a way, helped prepare me for this adoption . . . one needs to be pretty good at waiting . . . .

I pre-ordered through Amazon. I'll be stalking the mailman on Saturday (Geez, I haven't done that since waiting for DNA results).

I can't wait to get started. I refuse to let anyone around me talk about it until I'm done. I don't want any spoilers.

I'm like a junkie once I get the book in my hands...I just have to read it. I read the last book in two days. I won't be able to do that this time due to DS. But it is my traveling companion next week. I'm so excited to read it, but I'm afraid I won't like the ending.

I also can't wait for the seventh book. I can't wait to see what happens - and regardless of what it is, I am sure I will cry, just like when Dumbledore died in #6.

I love the Harry Potter books. I have to admit I'm a bit behind and haven't read book 6 yet! Luckily I have managed not to find out who dies in book 6. I'm going to have to quick read 6 before 7 comes out. There is no way I'll be lucky enough to escape finding out what happens in the book twice.

ROFL!! Yeah, I bet mailmen can spot HP fans and Guat adopters a mile away! We all have that crazed look in our eyes...

I will definitely cry at the end of this book. I cried when Sirius died too. I really hope that I like how it ends because I don't want to leave the series with a yucky taste in my mouth. Anyone see the movie yet?

Man, I have TWO freaking 15 page papers due by August 1st and I have to prepare TWO presentations to present by August 3rd (on these papers that I haven't written!!!!!) I have writer's block so bad I want to die....I write and then I surf the forum, I write and then I surf the forum...its really, really bad.

I LOVE HARRY POTTER!!!!!!!! But I can NOT allow myself to buy the darn book because I'll NEVER finish my papers then! Grad school just sucks......

Please nobody tell me what happens!!!!

I'm so excited too! I've recently re-read 5 and 6, and saw the movie last weekend. It was well-done, and made me cry when Sirius died.

I ordered it from Amazon because I was really hoping that they would mess up and send it early. I just checked, and they haven't even shipped it yet. Now, we're thinking about going camping this weekend with some friends, so I'll probably have to wait until Monday. I told my husband they could go and I would stay here and read.

Well, I've read them all, so I HAVE to read the last one, even though I was so upset by the way the last two ended. I have them all in hardcover so my son can read them in a few years... and I can read them again someday.
