Talking "Kids say the darn-dest things!" Share your kid's darndest quote!

Ok, I know I could use a laugh today. It's been an awfully long and stressful week. How about funny things your kids have said?

I'll start-I don't mind to share this obviously embarrassing stmt with my forum family-here goes it:

Connor is doing fantastic potty training, but at times still likes for me to take him and sit on the 'big-girl' potty next to him on his little potty. So, early 1 morning, still in my nightgown and he still in his jammies--he asks me to take him to potty. I did, and put the lid down to sit next to him. I was still VERY sleepy but I noticed he was taking a keen look at my big legs as I leaned on them, waiting for him to finish. He finally reaches over to touch my calf and says "mommy, your legs need a haircut!"
Yep, I'm awake now! Yes, I shaved that morning, too--

During a diaper change, DD pointed to her private area and asked, "What's that?" I tell her. Then as the new diaper goes on she says....
"bye bye Bah-Gye-Na"

I've also taught both kids to say
MOMMY ROCKS!!! just for fun.

I have posted this one before, but I think it is just so funny, I will post it again.

During a diaper change for DS, my DD pointed to his private parts and asked, "What's that?" I told her the medical term and she ran through the house, literally yelling, "Daddy, Daddy, Brian's got peaches!!"

For some reason my girls are intrigued with the potty stuff lately. Now when I exit the bathroom, that is of course if they aren't in there with me, they ask me if I went peepee or poopoo. If I say peepee they then ask "was it a big one".

We have been having an issue with Gabby (4 year old) not wiping well so I sat down and had a talk with her. So last night she tells me "at daycare today I went poo and I wiped like this (demonstrated) and boy was it stinky". I couldn't help but laugh.

Does anyone know at what age girls outgrown the need to discuss this?

A couple of weeks ago, while dressing my 3 year old, he pointed to his nipples and asked "what are these?" I told him and he asked "what are they doing on me?"

I love that kid!

Last week, I was sitting in the living room watching TV and talking to my teen daughters. DH was giving Trey a bath.

After awhile, Trey comes running naked into the living room, grabs his penis, thrusts his hips forward, smiles and exclaims..."It's mine peenus." We all laughed.

At least I know my little guy is proud of his equipment!

My co-workers DD is 4 years old and after trying to stutter her words out she says. "Oh shoot, I lost my thought train." Instead of "train of thought.

After my (uncircumsized) DS turned five, he asked me "...shouldn't we be calling it a five-skin now??"

This one came from my little brother, but it is hilarious. My parents adopted him five years ago (he is six now). He is special needs and when my mom first started explaining his adoption to him, she said that a stork brought him to her. One day my mom and him saw a very large bird land in the yard. My mom commented that it was like a stork. He got very excited and yelled to the bird, "Hey, bring a black one!" I guess he wanted a new brother or sister.

My daughter is only nine months old, but she is already conversant in serval languages.

For example.

I asked her if she wanted her papaya juice. She smiled and said "Da!" (Russian!)

Later on, she wanted to show me that she is practicing her body parts in English. She slapped that joint in the middle of her leg and said "Knee!" (English!!!)

At another point I asked her if she wanted her sock back on her foot. She resonded "Ni" (not to be confused with knee, of course) and was about to explain in Spanish "Ni mis calsetines, ni mis zapatos" basically clarifying that she didn't want her socks or her shoes on her foot because her toes taste much better without the shoes and socks. However, there was some interuption, and all she got to say was "Ni!" (Spanish!) But of course I was quite impressed anyway.

She is clearly a very bright child.

The other night I told my 2 yr old son that we were going to have lasagna for dinner (and I say it in an excited voice hoping he'll agree to eat it) and he said, in a whiny voice: "no, no vagina, no vagina". I had to bite my tongue so I wouldn't laugh and just said, "you don't want lasagna? But it's so good." And he repeated what he had said earlier!

Okay, I would like to share one more story. First, let me say that my DD's have nicknames for their private parts. Then, I have to admit I have let my sweet Savannah get away with this one before, so it was kind of my fault. Anyway,......

We were standing outside at CHURCH a few weeks ago, talking to the pastor's wife and she was asking our oldest DD Karrey what she liked to do and Karrey was telling her about riding horses at her uncle's house (my brother) and how much she loved it, how much fun it was, etc. Suddenly, Savannah says, "I don't like to ride a horse, it hurts my hootie." Then smiled innocently at the pastor's wife and I wanted to DIE!!! Fortunately, she (the pastor's wife) has a sense of humor and laughed at the comment.

Thanks for starting this thread. Kids are FUNNY!!

Blessings

Wink Dont' Forget Me

My mom and sister were over last night for my mom's birthday. Before my sister left my 7 yr old son ran up to her, gave a hug and said the following:" I need to give you something to remember me by in case I die before I see you again." He gave this prized shell that you can hear the ocean in. He has loved listening to it and swore he never wanted to lose it.

Now for the record, my sister only lives 2 miles away. I admit he has not seen her in two months but still I was shocked by his comment. I guess he is guilting her into more visits. I believe his comment has worked. She called me told me this tonight.

My son is full of surprising and insightful (at times) comments.
