I am asking for everyone to pray for Lana (sisterbear) and her family. They just got devastating news about their beautiful daughter Carmen. Carmen is adopted from Guatemala and came home this Jan. Lana and her husband were told that Carmen has a rare fatal genetic lipid storage disorder. Lana told me in an e-mail today that this disease is the worse one that a child can have because of the way it progresses. I asked Lana if it would be alright to ask for prayers. Lana is trying to stay strong, but it is hard to hold back the tears when you hear that your child has a fatal disease. Little Carmen has to endure more tests and more doctors appts. So, please keep Lana and her family in your thoughts and prayers. They have a rough road ahead of them and will need all the support and prayers that we can give them.

Lana as I told you today I am praying that God gives you the strength to get through this rough road ahead. I will pray for your family and for sweet Carmen.
