Drew is 1!
I haven't posted in a while b/c of my dad's death, but I wanted to let everyone know my son is 1! He is so active and growing like a weed. I have 2 questions: Is anyone else's teething child throwing miserable tantrums
 . My son is usually happy and all smiles. He now has 5 teeth coming in (4 on top and 1 bottom) and since they have been coming in he gets really upset and cries...he also is not eating as much as he normally does (he is 25+ lbs and 31 inches, so very healthy). Question 2...anyone find a way to keep him still for a diaper change? Karen

no really good answers for you. We have the same problems with teething and diaper changes.

Sabrina is a wiggle worm during diaper changes too . I usually give her something to hold, like the wipes, so she is assisting me. Sometimes it works. And sometimes I have to chase her around the house with a diaper!

Happy 1st Birthday Drew!! Gabriella had a horrible time with her one year molars. She was extremely fussy, had little appetite, and did not sleep well. The teething tablets or Motrin seemed to help her somewhat, as well as things to chew on. As for the diaper changes, I would recommend trying to find something to distract him. I try giving Gabriella special toys that she only gets at diaper changes and/or singing to her. These strategies don't always works, but they sometimes do. Good luck!!

Happy Birthday Drew! Poor baby, cutting all those teeth! I remember those days well! Good luck, try some popsicles, they work wonders!
