Any suggestions for a romantic hotel/ B&B in Antigua?
I need 2 nights somewhere nice to stay in Antigua.
We will be there on our Ann. and I wanted somewhere special to stay  . Lilee will be with us 1 of the 2 nights so it will need to be some where were kids are aloud. I have the other 2 nights planned already.  Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I love the Porta Hotel Antigua and I think it is very romantic at night. It has a wonderful pool and swings, slides etc for your little one to enjoy.

We stayed at the Casa Santo Domingo and loved it.. At night, the hall to the restaurant is lit by candlelight, and the grounds are wonderful for moonlit strolls...

I reccomend Posada Candeleria a B&B. IF you would like contact info please PM. The owners are american and cater to adoptive familes. They are small with only 3 rooms available

Has anyone stayed at Quinta de las Flores ?
We will be staying there 2 days next week during our pick up trip. If anybody knows this hotel, how did you like it?

Check out Mansion del Pensativo - both beatiful grounds and peaceful but also very kid-friendly.

I second the Casa Santo Domingo. It is absolutely beautiful and a real treat. I think they are used to people staying there with their babies. I saw quite a few when we were there.

Casa Santo Domingo was GORGEOUS!!! The grounds and the pool were just beautiful. We had our 9 yr old bio daughter with us(we went after a visit trip in GC) and I still thought it was romatic!!! the Hydrangeas blooms are as big as your head!!! the fountains and atmosphere was completely charming! I will post some pics for you.

Thank you all for your suggestions. We are staying the 1st night at Casa Enchantada. (I already had this place picked out and the 2nd place) THe 2nd night we will be at Hotel Atitlan. And the 3&4 night back in Antigua and are staying at Casa Madeleine. Thank YOu all for your help!!! We will be going July 19-23.
I can't wait. I wanted to try more hotel this time. We have stayed at MAnsion Del Pensativo twice and loved it!!!

We have been to Santo Damingo several times to eat and love it there! I do want to try it out there too! Maybe on pick up trip! We have the same picture of Sara Ava in the huge Hydrangea blooms.They are way bigger then her head!
