where did you send your G-884
Has anyone submitted their G-884 (request for return of original documents)? If so, where did you send it? My child came home on IR-4 visa in 2004 and we just got her certificate of citizenship granted in March of this year. The instructions say to submit the form to the USCIS office that took the last action on your case - I wonder if that would be the office where we got the COC? Or if I should just send to the national USCIS records center? Any recent experiences would be helpful. Thanks!

ok...done...i would assume that you would need to send it to the national records center address...the one in lee's summit, MO....which IS on the link i provided....b/c you have been home so long....regardless of the date of issue of Coc. does anybody disagree?

Sorry, but I disagree. Personally, if you have only had the COC since this March, I would send it to the office who issued the COC. Unless you provided all the documentation for the COC to be issued, they would have used that packet. And I would be surprised if it has made it back to Lee's Summit yet. Maybe. But most offices don't seem to operate that fast. And hopefully if they are on the ball and it has gone back to the NRC, they will forward your G884 on. (Though you could also make the argument that if you send it to Lee's Summit, and they don't have it, that they will send the G884 to the office that issued the COC.)
