ot: just for fun......your favorite baby item poll

what could you not live without?? (and you only get to vote once...so choose wisely.)

i personally couldn't live without my floppy for the shopping cart....but maybe someone else is addicted to their baby bath tub...or, if you LOVE something that is not on this list, enlighten us ...just don't list any retail websites.

Well, up until DS was 14 months it was his Baby bjorn but now ... we love, love our Maclaren stroller, especially when I can coordinate his outfits to match! Its' a yellow and blue one and you KNOW how good our Guatlings look in bright colors! Took DS on a 3 mile stroll on Sunday - following our Flag Day parade through town. Barbara

My favorite is the little plastic container that you can put 3 or 4 premeasure servings of formula in.

Second favorite is the mesh bags they can eat fruit with.

My baby (3 years old) isn't really a baby anymore, but the item that I could NOT live without, is his potty-on-the-go. It never fails, whenever we get into the van for a road trip, he has to go potty when there are no restrooms anywhere in sight.

I chose my sling because my Maya wrap was a lifesaver for so long and I can still use it, but my second favorite was definitely my Bumbo seat!!

I picked stroller because he's getting too heavy to carry for long periods of time. I never really got the hang of a sling or carrier.

We've gone through stages...

When he first came home (6 months) the Jumperoo was the best!

Then it was the exersaucer.

Now I think my can't live w/o is WETWIPES! I'm constantly wiping sticky hands, faces, high chairs, shopping carts, everything!

I couldn't live without my glider!!!! That is the best invention since Kool-Aid!! A friend bought it for me before our DS came home and it was wonderful. It sits like a bouncy, but glides back and forth like a rocker and you can turn the baby to be "rocked" from front to back or side to side, has 2 speeds and plays baby entertainment music or lullaby music. Our DS had a lot of colds the first few months he was home and when he was congested, he could just lay in that thing and sleep without choking on his on snot(excuse my language, but it is true!!). We used it until he was a year old. He could still use it if we needed to because it will hold them until they are 25 pounds. (He is 23 lbs at 18 mos. old).
Anyway, you can get them at Babies R US or Wal-Mart and it replaces swings and bouncy seats and even has a toy bar that goes across the top the baby can play with if he/she gets bored!!

I just LOVE it!!!

Blessings

I cannot live without my Eurospoprt umbrella stroller. It has a little more on it than the typical inexpensive umbrella strollers -- has a sunshade and basket underneath. I've had it for over four years and I'm still using it, first used it for DS, now for DD, and I'm sure I'll use it for our next DD. It has been on countless plane trips, car trips, you name it! And it holds a small suitcase and a diaper bag if the kiddo decides to walk.
