My mom was telling me about a place in my hometown that sold t-shirts for babies that were really funny and it got me thinking...

let's share some cute and/or funny slogans we have heard related to adoption! (no negative ones, please - just positive today!!)

I have a CUTE shirt that has a big picture of Guatemala on it and it says "Baby in Guatemala" (like Baby on Board for pregnant Mommys)

I also joke all the time about my WAIT gain during our adoptions.

Anyone have one to share??

We have a shirt for Mia that says "dont tell my parents but they dont look a thing like me"

People always giggle. Im Irish and my DH is Polish so the visual contrast is dramatic (Especially since she already has the most beautiful tan from playing outside!)

I've got a onsie that I'm going to use for Lucas' adoption notices I think that says "Sorry to have kept you all waiting". I've got another one that says "I'm bilingual, I cry in both English and Spanish".

It sounds like many of you have gone to the site I have gone to that has all those great adoption and Guatemala shirts!!!!

I have a Gautemama shirt,

"I don't have mom's eyes but I do have her heart"

"No news yet, yes it is taking a long time, thanks for pointing that out"

"Yes I am his real father" -a friend has this one

There are so many... we got Malea a shirt that says "this is what a Guatemalan princess looks like"

I'll tell you what I'd like to have made. T-shirts with the words "I survived PGN!" (Of course I can only wear it once I get out!)

These are all sooo cute!

I'd love to have some shirts made up with some of these - do you think they are "copyrighted?" There is a local print shop that could probably do them cheaper...

Waiting4Celest---yes they are on a website that you can buy these from (with these exact sayings) I have several!! I'll pm it to you. I've got these that say
my shirts say these:
"Yes, I am his REAL' mother"
"Guatemama"
"I found my son in Guatemala"

and Connor has some that say stuff like
"I may not have their eyes but I do have their love"
"I was born in my mommy's heart"
"Guatemalan/American" and it has the 2 flags

Others I really like are:
*It's in the love, not the blood
*Heartgrown
*shirts that say "Baby" with an arrow pointed down to your tummy (like pregnancy) except there's a map of Guatemala on your tummy, hehe
*Love knows no borders" and the background is the Guat flag

Those are some, I'll pm you with that site. I love just even getting on there to look!! Just go into it and type something as broad as 'adoption' and search or as specific as 'guatemala adoption'.

If I remember correctly there is a "Survivor" t shirt as well. But maybe I'm thinking of a different site. The survivor shirt plays on the logo for the television show...very cute graphic/idea and wholeheartedly felt sentiment.
