If you had to update your homestudy....

did you have to have it state sealed, authenticated, etc. to take along to the embassy for pick up?

We had our homestudy updated twice. I do believe that we DID go through the whole notary-state-consulate certification rigamarole each time.

Good luck.

You shouldn't need to take an updated homestudy along with you for pick-up. You'd only need it if you were applying for a new I171-H. I don't know why they'd need to see the homestudy. They only need it when you send in your original I600A.

We didn't

no, but our updated homestudy wasn't for PGN, it was for use by USCIS for a new 171-H.

We didn't take anything like that with us. All we took were copies of our taxes and a verification of employment letter (none of which were actually needed for the IR3 visa, I think, but our agency told us to bring it just in case).

We didn't

We updated our homestudy in order to apply for a new I-171. But, the updated homestudy was never incorporated into our dossier that was sent to PGN. We did not need a copy of our updated homestudy at pick-up.
