It's pretty awesome!
First off, it feels wierd to do so but let me introduce myself. My name is Cody (or Moose depending on how you know me). My wife and I adopted our precious Mia from Guatemala a little over 2 years ago. My forum family was a true blessing during our difficult adoption. I wrote for the Guatemala Adoption Blog for about a year until my plate became a bit full. It's been a while but I promised I'd drop by now and then to say HI!

The ministry I lead here in NC works with a Guatemalan ministry throughout the year. We will be in Guatemala from August 1-15 so I might see you if your there then. It will be Mia's first trip back to Guatemala.

Another leader and I took a preparation trip in May. While in Antigua, we ran into a real cool kid named Martin from Norway. He was trying to make a few extra bucks by performing a fire show. If your in Antigua soon, drop by Kafka (Across from La Merced) around 9:30 pm. It's pretty cool.

The video I edited of the show is available at the top. If you see him, let him know it's up! (He didn't have an email but checks the internet occasionally.)

PS. Pics are a bonus. The one of Mommy and Mia is when we arrived in Atlanta on the way home April 1, 2005. The one of the silly Mia in the tire is Easter 2007

Cool! Our church has a group going in a week to House of Home in Zacapa. They go every summer and last year my hubby went. Mission work in Guatemala is such a great opportunity!
