Great adoption book for kids...
My mom bought me this awesome childrens book. It is a "Little Golden Book" and is called "A blessing from above." You would not know it from the cover but it is a great book that talks about a kangaroo adopting a baby bird. It is sooo cute, and there is a really nice dedication in the front.

Hi Jill, YES, I also bought this book for our house and one for my friend who just brought her daughter home. It is a GREAT book and I would highly recomend it, so cute!!

A Mother for Choco is also a good one. A little bird goes looking for his mommy, and thinks if an animal somehow looks a little like him (for instance, if they are yellow like him) that they might be his mommy. In the end, he finds a mother in Mrs. Bear - who looks nothing like him. Then you find out Mrs. Bear has three other children who look nothing like her, too. Tina

Yes, we have the book, I read it to Abby the other day and started crying whiile I was reading it. It was such a sweet moment. Abby was just looking at me.
