You are watching "Cops" re-runs (we are right now) and they bust a druggie, you immediately calculate how many plane tickets the confiscated money would buy!! This dude just bought one ticket from my local airport to Guate!!!

Along the same lines as Kristi:
...when you can take any monetary figure and calculate either a) how many kids you could adopt w/that amount (such as, $15,000 is about 3/4 of a kid); b) how many nights in Antigua you could stay with that amount; or c) how many refills on your anti-anxiety meds you can buy [because you NEED them now more than ever!!].

You know you are adopting (from Guatemala) when you go to the produce department of the market and buy anything that is from Guatemala even if you do not know what it is!! (Fortunately I do know all my veggies and fruits)

You know that you are adopting when ... no one outside the adoption communitee can understand what you are saying. Example.. I'm currantly waiting on PA so that I can go into PGN. Then we will have to wait for PINK. And I thought waiting for the I 171h was hard!!
