STILL waiting for the US Embassy to issue our Pink Slip
OK Everyone, I'm about to total lose my mind, or at least what's left of my mind.
 Now mind you, I'm very happy to see that so many of you are travelling to bring your babies home. So jealously isn't the issue, but frustration sure is.  The US Embassy is still holding up our case, and I'm assuming the rest of the folks who used a certain facilitator. I know it takes some time for them to check things out, but it's been 3 months already and our little guy will be 1 year old next month. We started out adopting a baby and he'll soon be a toddler  OK, thanks for letting me vent. I really need some support and prayers right now. Thank you board mamas  Blessings, Sandra

So sorry they are making you wait some MORE! I think the waiting at all points during this process was hard but waiting for pink, and so long for you, has to be the HARDEST because it's so close!! Praying that we see GREAT news from you very soon! HUGS!

Sandra - I am so sorry for your long wait. Since it is our government involved, have you thought about asking for help from your elected officials? Maybe one of their staffers could at least find out the status of the investigation. If you google "Contacting the Congress", you'll find a web page where you can enter your adress or zip code and it will give you their phone numbers and email addresses. Praying you receive some good news very soon!!!

I'm so sorry that you have been waiting so long. It is so unfair that because of a bad seed everyone else has to suffer. I really hope you get Pink soon and get to go get your little boy home soon.

Long Wait
I'll be praying for your family- I know it's been a REALLY REALLY long wait for you!!
and I totally know how you feel about starting out adopting a baby who will soon be a toddler Our little girl just turned ten months and we haven't visited yet (although for different reasons!). You just vent anytime you want - pm me if you need to gripe some more!!!! Hopefully soon you'll be gettin' that PINK slip!

I hope your wait is almost over. When I was down there 3 weeks ago I met another family with the same facilitator who finally got pink but still had a couple of weeks to wait for their appointment. I hope that you get good news soon. Susan

I'm sorry to hear this. We are right there with you. We got Mia's referral at 1 day & she'll be one next month. But I know that very soon she will be with us forever. Hang in there!
