Visa photo/ Embassy Dr. Questions

Ok, so I have my embassy doctor appointment on Tuesday and I was told to bring a passport-size photo. Is this a US passport size (2x2 inch) or a Guatemalan passport size (which is a bit smaller)? I'm assuming since it's for the embassy it should be the 2x2 size. Anyone who has fostered or been down here for this part of the process, do you know for sure what I need?

Also, I'm supposed to bring a copy of the pink slip? My pink slip was scanned in and my agency sent this to me via email. If I print that out will that be good enough?

I have my son's Embassy medical report from filing the G884 and the picture attached to it is 1 6/16 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches tall. It is a different picture than is on his passport, though it seems to be the same size.

I was in GC for my daughter's dr. appointment, but the facilitator had already had the picture done prior to my arrival. I honestly don't remember anything about the picture! I kind if think that it might not matter a lot since it is just getting attached to the medical form. It is just glued in the upper left hand corner. Small is probably better though as there isn't a lot of space for it.

For both kids we had their visa photos taken the morning of our Embassy appointment. So that was yet separate from the Embassy medical picture and their passport pictures.

We did have to have the Pink slip for the Embassy medical. In fact we had to wait around the doctor's office for the attorney's runner to bring it to us, so it seems to definetly be necessary. I would think a copy might be ok, but I dont' know.

Good luck! Hope some of this ramble helps!!

Thanks Debbie, I guess maybe I should have had both sizes taken just in case. I went ahead and did the American 2x2 size since I figured we would also need those for the visa, and on the embassy website it says size 2x2 for the visa photos. So I guess I'll see. Maybe I can just cut it down to size if need be. As for the pink slip, I hope my agency will get it to me if that's needed. Guess I wait until Monday to find out. Thanks so much!

You can get photos no problem here in Guatemala City. There are places all around the embassy. They are quick and they are cheap- about 45Q, so a little over 6 USD. Hope that helps.

I wasn't there for the medical, but we got Kemry's photo made the morning of our embassy appointment at a little photo place right behind the embassy. I had no idea this was going to happen and assumed they had to have it for the doctor appt? Anyway, it's the picture that ended up on her visa.
