new member - Anyone from Ohio/Michigan?
Hello there everyone!
My name is Anne and I have been a "lurker" for quite some time and finally got up the courage to "join" the crowd! I just want to say that I have gained so much from reading your stories- it has really helped me a lot! My DH, DS, and I live in NW Ohio. If there is anyone else out there from this area I would love to know. Our little angel, Jessica Michele, was born on fourth of July 2006 and we have yet to get to visit her because of delays in getting the DNA done! It's becoming quite hard to be patient! Anne,
My name is Maegan and my husband and I live in southeast Michigan. We are in the process of adopting our daughter from Kazakhstan. We are first timers though, so we are a little overwhelmed. I too, am a "lurker." I have yet to post something of my own but I read many posts as it helps to ease my nerves, well, most of the time! I hope all goes well in your endeavor.

That's what great about this forum- many times when I feel overwhelmed I read something about someone else who is going through tough times and the support that comes pouring in is unbelievable!!! I'll keep you guys in my prayers- and keep posting updates!!!!!

Hi Anne, and welcome to the forum! I'm actually in SW Michigan, but have relatives in NW Ohio! I think you'll find tons of support and information from fellow members and we're glad you're here! Sounds like you've had a long case to date and I really hope things start moving along for you. My son is two days younger than your daughter! July is a great month
