Help with sizes, please!

Hi to all,
Well, I am sure this will be the first installment of "Help Cindy get ready for pick-up"! Here is round 1:
Anyone have a guess what size Camille will be wearing now? She is 13 mos. old, and weighs 19lbs. 4oz.
I was wondering what size in clothes and shoes I should be planning for.

Thanks in advance!
Cindy

I would say 12 months would fit her best right now.

As for shoes, I think a 4 or 5. My son is 14 months old and 20 1/2 pounds and wears a size 5.

Cindy, I'm thinking that you should be good with 12 monhts. When you are out shopping, check the tags on the clothes to see what the weight and height says. That is usually a pretty good judge. As for the shoes, those are tough. I would go with a "months" size.

Be sure you pack some 9 months things (Carters carrys 9 months and I believe Target does also). Our daughter was 14 months old 20 pounds and most of the 12 months items swallowed her up. She is still in 9 months as a matter of fact. She wears lots of items that are 12 months now but unless it was a dress she couldn't wear 12 months. Also size 3 shoe should be fine. Krista is also still in a size 3 shoe. Good Luck!!!

I am jumping in on Cindy's thread to see what you guys have to say. I guess I am on the right track. I have a lot of 12 month and some 9 months. In fact my sister sent me the cutest 9 month outfit yesterday and I have been worrying that it would be too small. My dd will be 10 months and 19# at pickup. I have size 3 and 4 shoes to take and I guess if they don't fit, she will be ok in just socks.

Isabelle is a couple pounds smaller and is just fitting into 12 months. Shoe size would probably be between 3 and 4.

Gabriella was about 20 lbs at 13 months, but she could still wear 6-9 month clothes. I would take some 6-9 and some 12 month just to be safe. I am not really sure about the shoe size. I think Gabriella wore a 3 or 4 at that age.

Grace is about 19 pounds and in 7-9 months, or carter's 9 months and they fit perfectly. 12 months are still too big on her though. She's in a size 2 shoe so I bet size 3 will be about right for you.

I agree - take some 6-9 months and some 12 months. Body shape has an affect as well - at 10 months Curtis is 21 lbs and while he fits well into 12 month shirts, the 9 month pants still need to be cuffed a bit (and he feet are in the knees of the 12 month size). Gotta love those short legged but stocky types!!

It will depend on her shape, so take some 9 mos. and some 12 mos. clothes with you.

As for shoe size, it's tough to say; it can vary a lot. I took a pair of Robeez (soft slipper-type shoes) in the 6-12 month size on our pick-up trip. They were huge on Caolina at the time, but they have elastic aound the ankle so they don't fall off. And I didn't risk spending money on shoes that didn't fit.
