Was PGN this slow last year this time?
Is there a reason the floogates are being held back? Is everything backed up? Should we expect a lot of outs all at once when thinks pick back up?

We were just entering PGN this time last year. There weren't delays when we entered but then the Directors of PGN changed and everything ground to a halt. We were stuck for 12 weeks.
I hope you get your little guy home soon. Shelly |

We also entered PGN at this time last year. Like the above poster said, we got in just as the director was changing. What a mess that was! Plus, the Easter holiday was looming and that added to our time. We were in for 8 weeks, which I imagine is pretty good compared to some. It seems to me that there really isn't a pattern. It's unpredictable no matter how you look at it.

I remember those days...we just started our process about a month or two after they changed the head of PGN and I also remember people waiting quite a while...man...that was a year ago! Weird how time flies and yet seems to stand still!

We were in PGN this time last year...we went in on 2/17 and got out on 5/31. It had definitely slowed down a lot. But, fortunately we had a quick BC (Guat City) and pink. We traveled 6/22/06. Good luck!!

Wow, how terribly wrong that I can tell you from my experience that right when we went in to PGN 1 year ago at the end of March, things slowed down. I guess looking at our case, you'd have to say that it slowed WAAAYYYYYY down.
OK, enough we're done! Get us out!

Not to take anything away from the long waiters from last year (because waiting sucks - plain and simple!!)... but just to prove you NEVER KNOW in this crazy process - we went in April 6th last year and got OUT of PGN on May 9th - just 4.5 weeks. We were actually approved within a few DAYS but the new director didn't sign off for a MONTH.
So you never know!! Just wanted to offer some HOPE to all of you waiting!!! I pray you are all OUT ASAP!!!! PS How can it be that a whole YEAR has passed!? It is true what everyone says - time passes SO much more quickly on this side of the fence! Why can't the reverse be true and the WAIT can pass quickly and once they are home it can slow down??? Hope you are all on THIS side of the fence very soon!!!! ![]()
